An air induction system that takes air from the engine bay.

not worth it if you have the 3400, there's a lot of CAIs out there that aren't too pricey

I heard from a couple people that the short rams give a little more throttle response that the CAIs... that's about the only difference i guess....

I had the CAI but changed it to the WAI.. Easier to get to for cleaning. and I think it looks better in my opinion.

That's what I have and I change it back to CAI at the track. I actually have the Dr Speed intake, I bought on Aleromod years ago. I just bought new K&N filters. I have a "cap" filter on the downside of the pipes. I use a different filter with a mesh top for racing only

I run WAI on the street, just do to the water thing. There was a member on here that ran CAI and got road salt in his intake in the wintertime. Not a good thing.

You can see the pipes in the pic so it's an easy convert to CAI. Takes me about 10 mintues to convert to track, which entails WAI to CAI conversion, removal of fog light and front fender liner and of course swaping the filter ;)

I'm sure you're right, your wai probably works great, but, cold air would be better for your engine than warm air.

I agree cold air was my favorite from having both.

WAI gets better low rpm throttle response while CAI does better on high end.

Shop for both and you can tell by price which is better.
