magnaflow street series

I have a magnaflow street series muffler on my old '00 Intrepid and I wanted to put it on my '02 3400 Alero. Would this work? I can't remember the exact model of the muffler but it is a single in dual out if that helps. Thanks.

depends on the inlet side diameter. I think the 3400 has a 2'25'' inlet

I think the Intrepid has a 2.5 diameter. Is there a way I can go from 2.25 to 2.5? There's only like a half inch difference. I'm know the muffler is a street series, I just forget which one.

the stock 3.4 size is 2", which is the same as the 2.2 and 2.4 and if a shop is to install it, they will just put a little adapter (which is a peice of pipe that extends to the size of the inlet of the muffler) to fit yours.

I have the magnaflow street series on my car with a 2.5 cat back and works awesome!! very good choice imo
