Mine just went out. A/C not working on 2 lowest settings (Thought it only broke on the heat settings)

Smelled like cigerates in my car until it stopped working.

Where is the resistor at, so I can fix it? Is it on the blower motor itself? and what do I buy to replace it?

its under the passenger side of the dash, right by the blower motor

It's on the passenger side under the dash right above where your feet go

There's only a multi-page thread on how to do this!

grab a pillow and put it on the floor of the passenger side when your doing it..

Its not hard to unscrew the bolts, its just terribly awkward, your body is not suppose to bend like that.. lmao

So I used the pillow, it went from painful, to awkward after using it..

you can loosen it with the simplest of pliers, wrenches, sockets.. whatever ya got.. its not hard..

^^ I have a pretty decent set of tools. I'm sure I can get to it with a socket.

I'm going to take a stab and say it's 7mm bolts.

I'm going with what Brad said, I'm buying the Duralast one, not the GM one ;)
