i just found this pic that has an Engine Oil Breather Filter, and was wondering if it was worth getting and what it really does. can someone explain this to me?

never got a chance to see the inside, but all those mods caught my attention. especially the engine breather

That filter there actually inhibits the proper ventilation of the crankcase. The filter should be in the opposite valve cover as the PCV valve.

It just helps the air circulation in the crank case. If you're car is stock no turbo or supercharger you don't need it because It would not help with nothing in performance wise.

It really does as much on a stock GM engine, as a Mopar performance parts does (look at the pass side fender by the suspension housing) :lol:

Looks like one of the pulley brackets. It has the belt routing sticker on it :lol:

he's actually got 2 mopar stickers, one on the pass fender and one on the pass headlight cover. and i think i see a ford racing sticker on the drivers side strut tower

eh at least he's got SOME things to make it a littler faster.. CAI, nitrous.. and I think I remember seeing something about an electric supercharger LOL

In the pic above the headlights there are covers, where did he/she get those? I have a 2001 alero with V6

They are a stock GM part from '99, part #'s are;
RH# 22618760
LH# 22618759

I got mine for about $12 bucks each from the dealer.

You will also need the hold down pins, the ones that have the pin in the middle that pops up. Buy those at auto store, the stealers will rape you on those.

are all sway bars mounted with 2 bolts? i woul think you would want to grab all three bolts on top of the strut. what is it made of (material ss,alum.cromolly...) i have acess to lots of material i might be able to make a few up for a contest prize.

dom .065 wall ss tube with 3/16 mount plates. the finish woul be like brushed ss

the mounts im thinking like a circle that grabs all of the strut bolts

are most bars adjustable?

any ideas or pics?

i got welders, cutters, mill machines ,leaths ,and material and will make the time if you have an idea!!

there's an auto store where that person lives who is in love with that car...... Made a lot of money off of those stickers..... I'd hate to see the trunk let alone underneath the car....
