in the egr valve pic the bottom of the valve only has one hole for the egr pipe from the headers to go into...but the ported UIM you can see below has 2 spots...one for egr pipe to valve and one for the gas recirculation...

what is my best course of action here? the rubber grommet plug in the pic is all i can think of to put in the UIM hole to stop any vacuum leaks and dab some black rtv sealant around it-just wondering if anyone has any other suggestions cause im stumped

haha ... just bolt it on man ... after i looked at the photos you where talking about I see what you are saying but there is actually two holes in the EGR ... one is a valve that is operated by the electonics on top. I post a picture explaining what i am taling about later.

Yep, looks the way it should be. The EGR valve has another hole in it where that screw is. That's the valve part.

they are right, but on a different note the paint on the uim and the tb looks slick, nice work.

Though that paint will probably end up melting/burning off the EGR valve after a while.
