It rained today and when I got into my car tonight, my oil pressure, battery, security lights, and radio were on. I cranked the car and went down the road a little ways and stopped 2 different places and it still won't go off. I found out, there's water in the drivers side fuse panel. I had a new windshield put in several weeks ago and checked for some wind noise at the top and there's still a little bit now. I was wondering if anyone has some ideas what I should do until I can get this checked out.

I also would love to know what causes this as I have a 99 and it leaks everytime it rains. I have to put paper towels in there to absorb the moistier. If it rains lots your car wont start.
This gets me thinking as if my windshield was replaced in the time before owned my car. This is one pain in the ASS problem

holy shit..
sounds like a poor job... even though aleros have their water issues..
Bag it...
I would rip the effer apart, and make a water shield above the fuse panels..
Then start looking and fixing leaks..

The other day I got the water hose and sprayed the edge of the windshield from about a foot from the side on the top, down the driver side, and about a foot around the bottom. checked it out and after a few seconds, it was drippin into the carpet and shit. I'm gonna go get them to pull the windshield and completely redo it whenever I get a chance off of work. I think that it was just a shitty job. I haven't had ANY problems with it at all before those people put the windshield in.

I've been having this problem every since I have had my car. I have taken it to the dealership and everything, but no one could ever get me a answer. let me know if you find out anything.

Who ever replaced your windshield should be held responsible for that crap man. I have a 2000 olds with previous owners, and I haven't had a problem with any type of leaking at all. That sucks man I would look into that.

Yeah, so I went back Monday and had them look at it and they put a new windshield in. Said that that one had a defect in it, like it was warped from when they made it. I noticed the new one had wind noise even worse. I looked at it the next morning and the f'n passenger side fuse panel had water in it. My mom took it back today while I was at work and they said that there was a pin sized hole in it where the water came from. The put more glue in it or some crap and said that we would still hear wind noise for a while cuz it takes that glue 48 hours to set up. That doesn't even make sense to me... I'm gonna give it a couple days to check it out before I take it back. I would take it somewhere else but the insurance has already paid for them to do it, so that would mean more money out of my pocket. The other part that sucks is the place that I got it done is over an hour from the house.

that sucks.. it should be lifetime warranty against leaks.. from most places.
Aftermath is right. They should have this fixed by now. Report them to the BBB if they don't get it done right soon.

I guess it's fine now. There isn't any wind noise anymore and the leaking seems to have stopped now, at least I can't find anymore.

So it's been a couple of months since the whole deal with my windshield went down. Today was really the only good, constant rain we've had around where I live in a while. I was headed back from town tonight and when I made a turn noticed some water dripping. There's like a 2 inch or so wet spot slowly dripping water at the front, right in the very center of my headliner. This is bullshit. I don't know what to do anymore...
