So i went to drop my rim off at a place so they could fix the bend, he said it would be tough, cause the bend is near one of the spokes on the rim. Then he told me he would try his best to bend it back, if that didnt work, he said he would weld a peice of metal on the rim so the tire wont leak air out. He warned me that the chrome might be discolored where the bend was.

Will the chrome turn blueish where the bend was, after he heats it up? I hope it isnt tooooo noticeable:(

If he knows what he is doing he should be able to keep the chrome cool and away from damage when welding on a piece.

Well he said he will weld if heating and bending the rim doesnt work.

so hes going to try to heat the rim where its bent, and move it back into place. but if that doesnt work out, he said he would weld a peice inside the rim.....

he said he gets rims in there ALL the time. Then he was talking about the black people that come in.....hes like "yea i get these black guys who have pockets full of money who come in and start flipping out about how part of their rim is discolored, even though i told them that might happen. Trying to explain that to them is like talking to a wall. Now im not racist, but they were rediculous. I have a pile of rims in the back that they left here." lol, the guy seems pretty cool. and he knows what hes talking about.....i will post pics when i get the rim back.
