Springs and struts

Alrighty, well ive been lookin to lower my alero latly and i want to know if its OK so jus buy lowering sprigs and leave the stock struts or would it be much better to get struts also. And also will the springs and struts that will fit a Grand Am fit an alero?

GA springs will fit. You can do it with just springs, but it will bounce a little more and not handle as well as it would with different struts. Depending upon how many miles are on your stockers it might be a good idea to just change them if they are getting old. Lowering on stock struts will shorten their life span. But not by much.
