question about removal of gas tank

i need to get to the top of my gas tank to reach my fuel line running into it. i saw two metal brackets holding it up with bolts so i just wanted to know if this was all that was needed to drop it to access the line or if there was more to do that would complicate this. thank you

On mine i had to remove the heat shield, but the 2 straps is all that holds it up. You don't have to drop it all the way down to get to the top of the tank but you won't have alot of room to get in there either. I jacked the ass end of my car up and put it on jack stands. Oh and the filler tube needs to be taken off too.
