FFP underdrive pulley installation

So, now that the headers are done, I am also finally getting around to installing the UD pulley I bought (even before the headers). In reading the instructions, it says to remove the splash guard from the wheel well; well, being that the splash guard is a welded piece of metal, and is not easily removable, what has everyone who has installed the pulley done when they ran into this issue?

uhhh, the "splash guard" is a piece of molded plastic that goes around the wheel well.

I guess it would help if I looked on the right side of the car!!! :drunk: I was looking on the driver side where the splash guard is metal and welded to the car, instead of the passenger side where the crankshaft pulley actually is and the splashguard is plastic. Unless you guys want to get a good laugh, this thread can definitely be deleted to save me some future embarrassment. :blush: Otherwise enjoiy!
