Just a quick question, since the weather is getting nicer, and i'll actually be able to work on my car again.
I have the hypergrounding kit sitting here (and the directions are incredibly brief) but i was wondering for those who have done it, did you leave the old grounding wires in place, or remove them completely?

In my experience, you can never have too many GOOD grounds...I'd leave the old ones, but while you're at it, maybe scrape down the old terminals and clean them.

...now that i'm out here tracing lines... holy f* did they bury these wires.
anyone actually know where the ones under the engine go? specifically... don't bother with... "to the transmission" or "the cylinder head" ....
its a V6

nah.. its easy to get to. grounds goes from battery to chassis, then off the chassis to the ground block by the starter (that one is a bitch to do), but the chassis to engine block/tranny in the back by the thermostat area is easy if u got a deep socket 13mm and a long extension, and swivels.

i think your terms of "easy to get to" are different then mine.
i obviously got the one next to the battery. but i'm definitely not seeing those second two. i can see the thermo, but i see no wires anywhere in that local area.
i'm thinking i'm gonna put this project on hold till i got another pair of hands... and better tools. lol
