Since this is asked over and over, here's the deal. Anderbra, I think you had a picture of headlights with all the bulb #'s circled... so feel free to post that.

-9005 Hi-Beam- To replace them, open the hood, pull up the clips holding the headlights in, take the black circular rubber pieces off, and twist out the bulb.
-9006 Lo-Beam- To replace them, open the hood, pull up the clips holding the headlights in, take the black circular rubber pieces off, and twist out the bulb.
-894 Fog Lights- To replace them, reach down behind the bumper, and twist out the bulb. 886 Fog Lights WILL WORK and are higher wattage. Also, some other bulbs in the 800's will work, but they have a straight plug instead of a 90 degree bent plug.
-3057 Turn Signal, brakes, parking, tail
-921 Backup
-194 license plate

All you have to do is remove the headlights

- two clips you pull up on towards the back of the light, then wiggle the light out
- remove corner bulbs by turning them and pulling out and theres a clip you have to remove for the main lights too
- once this is done reach down till you reach the fog light, twist the bulb and remove and thats how you do it

So how do you change all the rear bulbs that are on the part of the trunk that come up. I think you have to unscrew a bunch of stuff.

/\/\/\ you don't have to unscrew a bunch of stuff, just three screws per side, that secure them to the car.... mine kind of "pop in and pop out", they're a snug fit, first time i took out i actually had to tap it with a hammer... be careful  and keep modding!

i thought the front markers were 3157 not 3057? any difference?

921 is the reverse back up lights, any one replaced them with something diffrent or just brighter?

the connectors for the 3057s and the 3157s are exactly identical, I still believe there is a slight difference though, otherwise there wouldn't be a need for different numbers.

i replaced my regular bulb tail lights with some ultra bright red LED lights that i bought at autozone, it really looks good, nice and bright, and takes about 5 minutes and 20 bucks....kinda gives the looks of the new caddy's and infinitys

Is this picture labelled with the correct bulb numbers? I made it with the info I found from various bulb number posts, I think they're all right.

Thats the correct numbers.

Great how it says all 3 of them for the third brake light.

I found out how many were in there the hardway

I bought those Auto Zone red LEDs. The package reads, "Super-Bright Red LED 3157R" 2 in a package, the manufacturer is JamStrait, they have a web site http://www.jamstrait.com If you buy them, only buy 1 package because you may not like them. They are very bright, but only the area the size of a quarter, they do not brightly illuminate the reflective box that they are in. From behind it looks like 2 bright dots, so I put them in the trunk rear lights only. (1 on each side) If you want to see a picture, go to "Impala LED Middle light" on this same "How To" section, look at the photo posted by Silent Alero dated 10/2/04@4:31PM. That'll give you an idea of the illumination, however it is brighter than the picture shows. In the photo, the brakes are being applied. In my car the LEDs that I put in the trunk look so bright, that it appears as if the brake lights are being applied all the time.

Although they can almost always be used interchangeably, they are definitely not the same.

I bought some clear 194's for my outer turn signals when i cleared my corners, they were longer than the original and didnt work. The package said on the back "perfect lighting solution to help finish your custom taillight application." Did they not work since they are for the taillights and why didnt they say 194R or something like that to let me know?

they're longer and dont work? i dont see how that's possible.

yeah they say 194 on the package and are slightly longer than the ones that came in the headlight. I plugged em in and they will not light up. i tried switching sides and turning them to see if the polarities were backwards but no dice.

Redog

they could be 168's

as far as illumination and polarities go, 194's or 168's will work.

i'd check your fuses.... maybe one blew at the first reverse polarity or something weird like that.
