So I was driving home yesterday and I looked out the passenger window to see some black thing flopping around. When I got to my daughters school to pick her up I looked and it was the weather stripping from around the windshield. It was the piece that runs verticle along the windshield on the passenger side. How big of a pain in the ass is it to put a new piece on? I still have the old piece, doesn't look bad just looks like it came off, could I just reuse that?
Should not be that hard to reuse. I believe there is some type of window silicon that is placed underneath it.

fortunately I am not too worried about water getting in right now, it will be months before it rains here again

Don't use silicone, go get some 3m weatherstrip adhesive, I got mine from Napa and it's cheap. I would just use the right thing the first time though. ;)
