One More question on white Face Dials?

Do you still use the dimmer switch for the stock dash to adjust light. I mean, the speedhut dials come with their own inverter. However, the car mileage light will still light up green correct?

So, what I am getting at is even though speedhut guages use their own inverter to power the dials,it will not power the mileage light? IT WILL STILL BE GREEN CORRECT????

SO ...leave the original dimmer for the stock dash on...next to fog light switch and the speedhut inverter on too...both at same time?

the stock dimmer will control the lights like your mileage display and your AC controls, but the new gauges will be hooked up to the new dimmer

Thanks a lot. So, even with both dimmers on at the same time, the green glow of the original lights will not show through the new white face dials?

I dont care about the mileage light, but green showing through the new white face dials would look like crap!

I am getting the Speedhut dials..white dials..dark blue font...reverse glow.

if your that worried man, change the lights in the guages. use white LED's if anything

You wont notice anything shining threw them, I believe a little light does come threw but the speedhuts are way brighter and over power any light coming from behind.

I'm soooo torn as to weather I should have shelled out for the speedhuts and how they would have looked with a brushed alum bezel... After looking at pimptress's I'm thinging I should have gone for the reverse glow w/metal gauges and just cut down the bezel...But for the price. If you go with the speedhut like I 'did not do' definatly get what you want. Don't scimp. If you want the custom do it. Cuz you'll just be sad later. I'm lot less sad since it didn't cost much and looks better IMO. But damn those ones I want will look soo much better when I get them.
