I was actually going to do that this weekend. I had the lights pulled off the car and couldn't find the silicone, don't know what the little woman did with it. SO, I put the lights back on, got distracted, and never got around to doing it.

Why do today what you can put off til tomorrow? I think thats what you were looking for there shooter.
But remember, procrastination is like masterbation, it feels great; but in the end you realize you're just screwing yourself.

Clearing the headlights is actually pretty easy. Using a blowdryer=not a good idea, because it takes so damn long. Just throw one in the oven at 100-150 degrees?? i think thats what it is, i forgot:lol: then pull that apart, and the rest is easy.
Took me like 2 hours for both of them, i did have moisture in one corner a few months after clearing it, but i just took the headlight off, and blowdryed inside of it, then i put clear silicone around all the edges again.
SIMPLE MOD-CHEAP MOD-and it makes the car look so much better!:coolio:
Yeah, I tried to do it once, but I left it in the oven and forgot about it. Lol.

Not to sound stupid.... But when you're clearing the corners if you use a heatgun do you have to take the lamp out of the car? Is the actual colour on the inside or outside of the lamp?

I didn't use new silicone when I did mine. I never took the old stuff out either. When I put them back together, I put it back in the oven and THEN pushed them back together so that the factory stuff re-sealed. Worked like a charm.
You really can't mess up doing it in the oven. Unless you maybe fall asleep on the couch during the 10 minutes you have them in there for. Otherwise there's no worries. I was skeptical myself, but I had an extra headlight and it was pretty simple stuff.

Well I cooked my headlights today and it took me less than a hour since I took the oven approach. SMELLS GOOD! :)

Your turn signal bulbs are 3157's, and APC makes some that are chrome during the day but still light up amber.
Here's a before and after on my car...

I just went to the AutoZone site and for me, asks for zip code, it said that the "3157a SilverStar" is "Normal Stock," which in return means "This item is normally stocked at your local AutoZone."

Yeah, after I saw this I went right to AutoZone and picked it up. I'm a moron and bought two packages, when there's already two bulbs in the package... $11.99. So worth it. Looks, don't know a word that sounds masculine, "fabulous."
