Some cars have these built into the roof console or visors, and I just happen to have one in the PA. It has 3 buttons, and I really am stumped on how to get this working.
I figure it has something to do with having it "learn" the signal that my handheld opener uses, but I'm not sure how to make it do that.
Nothing online helps me that I've found and I don't have an owner's manual yet.
Any of you guys know how to work these?

hmmm on my dads trailblazer you had to take the garage door opener that you have now and hold it close to the button, then hold the button in for a few seconds. Im pretty sure thats how you do it.

1) press the two outer buttons until the light flashes. This clears all previous codes
2) press and hold the button on the Homelink transmitter you want to program, it should flash (~once per second).
3) while still pressing the button from step 2, hold your original door opener near the homelink transmitter, and press the button you want the transmitter to learn.
4) when the Homelink transmitter correctly receives the signal to learn, the light will flash faster (~twice per second).
That's just off the top of my head. If you need more info, just register your car (for free!) and download the owners manual from http://www.mygmlink.com/
