Since it looks like all six teams might make the playoffs, first time in 20 years....which teams do you think have the best chance of taking it all the way?
My guess is either Mtl, Ottawa or Toronto....im a sens fan though...Vancouver has slipped since losing bertuzzi and naslund is in a slump....calgary doesnt have the depth to take it and neither does edmonton

Sens will take it if they don't choke like every other year...

If I had to pick a Canadian team, I'd go with Belfour staying healthy and Nolan coming back when needed most and go with the Leafs.
But...I wish Colorado would get it going and stomp whoever comes out of the east.

Jets Vs Nordiques!!!
Jets in 7!
.......what do you mean those teams left?

Jets :(
I'd say Calgary and Edmonton are possible sleeper teams. Anaheim did it last year, and Carolina the year before.
But I'd say Toronto or Ottawa would have the best chance. If their goaltending doesn't falter.

I'd love to say T.O. but unfortuantely, with the leafs playing like they did last nite (I was at the game vs the Thrashers) they are not playing Stanley Cup quality hockey... it was a very slow moving game and rather boring last nite - until T.O. came up with a couple goals in the third. They really should've played much better last nite. We'll have to see, but if they dont' step up the playing quality, i don't expect T.O. to go very far in the playoffs.
Sens on the other hand are a younger team, a really good quality team and if they play the good quality hockey that they're capable of, they'll definitely go pretty far... I hope they do well in the playoffs.
I'm backing up both teams honestly. :)

ottawa's game last night against Tampa Bay was a good example of hig-intensity hockey...fast-paced the whole game, but what do u expect from two of the fastest teams in the league....if the sens can keep up that kind of intensity then they should do good

if belfour stays healthy and no one gets hurt, leafs mite have a chance(thats what i'm hopin) but really, it'd be awesome to see the cup come back to any canadian team

Mmmmm, I hate to say it but I think T.O. has a good chance as long as their goaltending is consistant
Just glad to see Calgary in the dance again

^^i was real happy about it too...and it'll be a hell of a game to watch between leafs and sens tonite...last game of the season, and this one decides if leafs beat sens or down by 3....should be an intense one

Sure toronto did win 6-0 last night.. but I mean Ottawa wasnt there to play... had no goaltending and the team was just tired.. hell they have played 17 games in the last 31 days.. 4 of those games being home games... dont count Ottawa out just yet...
** Please note, both of these teams suck and will never win a cup **

hahha
I will jump on the playoff bandwagon, just another excuse to drink beer. It would be cool to win the cup, but I really don't care.
Now, if Toronto got a high banked oval.......

I hate to say it but the Canuck's looked pretty good against Edmonton last nite. Not sure which team Id rather see Calgary face. Vancouver or Dallas. Both are playing well as of late.

Ive been a Calgary fan for 20 years and I hate Edmonton. But I must admit I would have liked to see them get in this year. Not that a matchup with those tow would have happened but ya gotta admit it would have been a good series!
GO FLAMES GO!!!!!

Yeh, I was disappointed that Edmonton didn't make it, but even if we beat Vancouver on Saturday we still wouldn't have made it since Nashville beat Colorado Sunday.
Now for the playoffs I'm officially a Canucks fan...and if they drop out any Canadian team but Toronto. So far as American teams go, I'd like to see Tampa Bay go far.

If i was a betting man, i would say Ottawa, but since i'm not i'll root for a home team, assuming they beat Canucks
