did you try hitting your trac button by the shift column?

If it was a hub, the ABS light would be on as well.

is it shifting hard or funky at all?? i ran into a problem with the light and it was the air intake temp sensor causing all my problems....weird i know but check it ... one of my wires had broken and was an easy fix

The trac light comes on when the wheel spins, but if its not spinning I prob. would think its a sensor relay. My ABS lights are always on cause of a stupid sensor, but thats a bonus cause GOD DO I HATE ABS, takes 10 times longer to stop, and for some reason I can steer with no abs....lol...

yeah mine comes on after i pull off and then it starts shifting funny then ding ding ding there goes the anti lock, and all them other lights flashing. So what i do is press the trac off button but 25% of the time the lights still would come on:(

i also noticed it doing that when i changed the trans fitler and refilled it...dunno why it did it then.. but after about an hour of driving it around.... it "relearned" the shift points and was fine..... thats what my mechanic thought it did

My antilock tracoff and service eng soon keeps coming on too but only when i make a hard turn.. usually just turn car off turn back on and its good till the next hard turn most of the time not till i'm pulling in to park somewhere. but the funny thing is abs still works with the light on yeah explain that one to me ...

could it also be this on mine?
i had to replace my driver side brake disk the pad broke off and basickly chewed away the whole inside of the disk but i didnt replace the passenger side yet.. i had held on to my old disk's from when i did the brakes when i got the car back in 04 so i had thrown the old one on the driver side so its two different brake disks on the front

My ABS, trac off, and SVS lights all came on about a week ago when it was snowing and were out when I left from work and haven't come back on since.

Should I still have the bearings checked???

TIA

Who knows, mine came on as a fluke when it got all cold one day. Hasn't happened since. By the way, it was on Friday the 13th, nonetheless. o_O

Yeah, mine did the same thing 2 days ago, driving normally at constant speed, all 3 lights came on and I thought "fucking hubs", but when I started the car again later that day, they didn't show.

After I started trying to hear a noise coming from the wheels, but nothing. I was wondering if it was really a sign of the hub goin out, or maybe it was just a bad hole in the street that caused them to light.

if its shifting hard too, u might be throwing a code for gear position sensor(think thats what its callled). that happened on mine, just went up and had them delete the code. then it worked fine but i still replaced the sensor b4 it happened again.

You guysjinxed me..

Im having all three light come on again..

Must be my other bearing ..

its weird this time though..

Driving straight rolling or stopped.. the lights come on.. randomly..

I can even get to the store and back before it trips sometimes..

slightly diff. than when my first bearing went

that is exactly what has been happening to me lately. For about the last three weeks, the three lights (service engine soon,ABS,and Trac Off) have come on randomly. I have no idea how to fix it, Im not even sure if it is just a sensor or if it is actually the bearings. I don't have any trouble at all driving, and nothing has seemed to change in my braking ability. So who knows...

Is there any way to fix the wheel hub that anyone knows by yourself or do you need to take it to the mechanic.

You CAN do it in the driveway yourself. My dad had it apart in 30 minutes with the old hub and bearing out. Bought a new hub and bearing, put everything back within an hour.

Also as an FYI, I had NO lights come on when it was my wheel bearing. I just got the noise right away.

Call me Shane. I went through this sh!t. I dont think it is your wheel bearing, the O2 sensor in the header is probably you issue.

okay, well i just had a HUGE problem with "mystery lights", which would come off and on at random times. All of em, trac off/ abs/ svs/ ses/ i mean ALL of em, and at random. Anyway after a whole weekend of searching i found that the easiest way to work down the chain of elecronics. I checked my battery and replaced it, then my pcm and bcm, both good, then my ingnition module. turned out to be a bad ign module, but with everything going off sometimes it could be anything cuz almost all of these signals run through multiple components.

well.....that's just my two cents.......
