Do you guys think its ricer to paint your engine like some people have? i kinve want to do mine this weekend.. any comments?

Just don't go overboard on it. I painted my 2.4L cover but left the ribs shiny, looks pretty neat.

Since you have the 3400, you should paint the cover whatever color your car is, and the letters just shine up to be silvery, or paint them black.
