I went with the 80 instead of the dual 40's but it still sounds awesome
No more lawnmower sound at 2500 RPM, sounds great up to 5100 RPMs It does get a little shallow at about 3300, but still has that Flowmaster sound. Even the shop guys could believe how deep it was
Now I must :yahoo: and :dance1:
Last time I had an 80 on, and this is no BS the car went from 15.5 to 15.22 in the 1/4 mile. Now that muffler was totally shot, but still I'm hoping for a gain in the 1/4. Next race for the Alero is 10-22 at E-Town, andif it runs high to mid 14's at E-town, it will run mid to low 14's at Atco in December :D

I've got one I picked up from Ebay for $44-ish shipped, it was used though. You'd prolly be looking at more than that though, cuz all the other one's I've seen were more. They's $90 brand new.
Gah, now I can't wait even more till I can get this baby on!

The shop supplyed it.
It's $80 + $10 shipping, from Summit and Jegs and they charge $60 or so to install, but they did the entire thing for $160 plus tax, so for the extra $10 I bought it from them.
Total was $179.xx since I paid with the credit card

oh ok i thought it was a whole exhaust system! But that's pretty cool! That wouldn't put more hp on for me w/just a muffler would it?

record it somehow :p A good digital camera can record sound quite well. I just wanted to hear some exhaust sound clips because I want to get some kind of muffler but everyone has a different opinion about what sounds good.

It might but if you're looking for more HP, either have a shop put an exhasut on the car, or buy the SLP or Borla, but a chamber muffler is the way to go. Doesn't HAVE to be Flowmaster, but I would recommend them, becuase if your going to do it, do it right the first time and save some bucks.
You will need an O2 sim if you replace the cat
