Hey everyone, I completely forgot my old password under my other name (alerobabe327) and I dont have the email anymore to reset my password so Im starting over.
My question is about putting an exhaust on my car, I want it to be a duel exhaust but what kind should I use to make sure it's not too loud or too sh**ty sounding. Most v6 cars Ive heard with exhaust sound way bogus. Any advice please help. Thanks!:rolleyes2:

I have the SLP kit and it sounds OK, but Flowmaster 80 would give you the tone and the dual outlets :coolio:

v6 cars sound way bogus? hmmm news to me. i think maybe you were thinking of 4cyl sounding like bees on steroids. i have magnaflow at any rate...sounds good, looks good, basically does what it needs to.

magnaflow or flowmaster are both good ways to go.

custom 3" duals (after cat) through a pair of Cherry Bombs !!

isnt 3" a little big for an almost stock engine (with the exception of a WAI/CAI and minor mods like spark plugs and wires)? 2.5" would be the most for a stock engine, just based on the research ive done and from what i was told, correct me if im wrong though ^_^

be patient, I've still got some work to do on it :)

I'm not happy with it yet, so I've still got some work to do, plus , the paint job is all photoshop (there's really no stripes on it, those are next), it looks very odd right now with no paint

I dont know about the nicest, but my goal is certainly to be the fastest :)

I'm not as much into appearance mods as I am performance, and there's some pretty hot looking aleros on this site.

And if it makes you feel any better, it's taken me almost 6 months to get where I am now, and havent even hit a dyno or track with the turbo yet. Money is tight for me too, but I wait patiently for all the deals I got...like $150 for a full set of SI stainless valves, $75 for the titanium hardware, etc. I'd be WAY in the hole if I paid full retail.

you should go to race wars lol

not like it isn't right around the corner.....from what I hear, it's just north of Phoenix which is about 3 hours from me. But import cars piss me off, so I'd probably just end up getting higher blood pressure than my boost pressure.

^ Na you should go, hit the tree right you can smoke them all.

Bracket racing them is funny as hell. I raced a Civic once that dialed at 15.00 but ran a 16.32

lol you guys crack me up and yes i will update my profile i just didnt think about it before:p

anyway sorry i didnt get back right away, the day after i posted it my car was in a pretty bad wreck... i wonder if i could get some pics on here... ill upload real quick. So anyway ill attach them.

I tried to get an ********* front out of the whole thing but they tried to charge me (and i was shocked) $340 JUST FOR SHIPPING! Maybe its just me, but for only a front bumper that seemed WAY too much. Ive seen whole kits ship for that or less. So I didnt get the bumper but I had some minor things done. the pinstripes are off and the body lines that stick out on the side are off now too. I like it, looks classy.

But now i have to reclear the headlight that got mangled as well as replace my cold air intake, possibly the chrome center cap for the wheel, the grill inserts and they put regular headlight bulbs instead of the other ones i had so little things that i have to do on my own. Im just happy to have my car back, i had to drive around this piece of crap basic model neon for the past couple weeks.

Well i think i wrote a lot thanks for responding about the exhaust!

why does it block out the type of front bumper i wanted to get? is it because of the company name? i didnt realize it did it til i posted it.

welcome back, and yes, it's because of the company name. Sorry to hear that you had an accident, but we're all glad you're ok.
