headlight trouble

I got a pair of hid's and they look great but the problem is that when I turn on my car only one side turns on. I turn my headlights off and on and just the one side stays on but nothing happends to the other side. If i turn off my car and turn it on again then it all of a sudden works. Is this a wiring problem of is it a kit problem???

You need to take a multimeter and check all the wires to see if there is a wire fault. If everything looks ok then you may have a bad unit but my money is on the wires.

Yeah check your wiring and see if there's a loose connection anywhere and if everything is connected where it's supposed to be. If all looks good, I'd bet on a bad kit.
