Today i replaced the EGR valve and it does seem to be running alot better. The idle is much smoother but it still seems to surg or "buck" as some people call it under acceleration. Im thinking it could be the O2 sensor, but im not sure. Can anybody help me? Im about to put a custom flowmaster exhaust on and not use a catalytic converter. I have an O2 simulator on it already and i was thinkin i can simply replace the front sensor and forget about the converter. Any thoughts on this? Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

clean your MAF sensor and Air idle control valve.

I clean my MAF Sensor once a yr. It gets dirty quick from the K&N oil from the filter. So if you have an intake, more than likely the MAF unit is dirty. Makes a difference after in shifting, idleing. etc.

I been using brake cleaner or carb cleaner in the spray can. Remove the MAF unit.. and spray the 3 little sensors. Becareful when spraying that you are a 1ft away from the sensor. cuz those 3 little tiny sensors can break easy with all that force from the spray cleaner in the can. Give it a couple of squirts and you'll notice it being white again from black. and put put the MAF unit back in. plug it in and restart the car and see if u notice a difference.
