3400 Limiter

The speed limiter, is there anyway you can take that stuff off? I can only hit about 110. :cry:

Isn't it as easy at unplugging the old and inserting the new?

ummm yea, it takes all of 5 minutes to do it yourself unless u need the relearn, then it takes about 1/2 hr. what year is your car? my car didnt need the relearn, i have a 2000.

i think the car is drag limited to like 130. when i dynoed my car, it pegged out around 140 and im pretty sure that was at redline.

Drag limitation can vary depending on horsepower. I have hit an indicated 140mph on the highway (a day when I was feeling especially stupid). Yes, it's at 6000rpm in third gear.

I'll have to invest in one sometime b/c my car only topped out at 104mph and I was so pissed b/c when i had my cavalier that topped out at 114mph, and that was a 4 cylinder & my alero is a v6.

no shit...i had a cavalier too... 96 z24 coupe with the 4 banger and it only got up to 109-110

yes it is. but if you have higher hp goals in your future then get the pwrtuner so you can tune to match your mods.
