2 years of searching and you never found this site? I think I had my car a day when I found this site. Just searching for Alero in google this site pops up 5 sites from the top, PFYC.com shows up 9 from the top. You must not have been looking to hard for stuff. Not trying to criticize or anything, just saying. well there is pfyc.com, rsmracing.com, mantapart.com, and a whole others you can check out that I can't think of right now. Oh and welcome to the site :thumb:

and I agree that that damn upgrades page doesnt work rite for the longest time but it gives u basic knowledge of whats out there.

Don't forget RSM racing.com
Anything Grand Am will work on Alero, except programing and transmission.
GA's have a different tranny

ok, when it comes to performance engine parts, the following are just some of the vehicles that have the same engine:
Olds Alero
Pontiac Grand Am
Chevy Malibu (has the 3100, but the same engine mods fit)
Pontiac Aztek (bastardized SUV)
Chevy Venture
Chevy Impala (standard sedan only, not the LS or SS)
Chevy Equinox
Chevy Lumina (some models)
(possibly) Saturn Vue
Just to name a few.

^^ What he said
Took me 5 years of work to shave off 2 seconds in the 1/4 mile
BlackJack

heh, bring me about 5 grand, and I can shave about 4 seconds off stock 1/4 mile time in about 12 hours. Bring 9 grand and in 36 hours I can shave about 6 second off :)

60degreev6.com
Dedicated to 60degreev6 performance. They also have a store that sells good performance parts on the site, ranging from ported heads to billet throttle bodies, ect.

not only will the grand am engine parts work but the suspension parts and exhaust will too.
so for two years you search for parts. now you have the knowledge to make it into a race AND show car? people have been here for years and have really deep pockets, and still cant make them into race AND show cars.

True, I went the race route, but I make sure everything looks good.
You can do some "sight" type upgrades, I have a few. If your planing on doing a heavy system and modding the motor and expect 13's in the 1/4 is ain't going to happen. Alero in the 13's is about 8 grand.
I like plain looking cars that are fast, or faster than people think. In a word "sleeper!"

equinox, vue, and the other pontiac SUV, all have the revised Chinese version 3400, slight differences and slight similarities.

The Vue doesn't have the 3400. It has a Honda 3.5 SOHC V6.
