If anyone is interested say so.....I am in New Jersey and stationed at the naval base so if someone needs a place to stay for a weekend ride or something because its too far then, i can help out with that. Ocean City here in Maryland would definitely be the place to have it (alright, maybe I'm a little biased cuz I live so close to it lol) but it IS right in the middle of everything... I agree with acidethereal about Myrtle Beach being a little far for those north eastern folks. I'm definitely in, but I would recommend all of us starting the planning... OC gets booked up pretty fast.

i'm deff in for an east-coast weekend, but i'm up in Maine, so it's gonna be a haul for me. more towards the middle of summer i could do it, once i got some money in the bank. i like the MD idea, but i could live w/ Myrtle Beach i think. i'm new to this stuff, so, what kind of stuff goes on at these things? just chill and drive?

yeah, there's a pretty good chance that I would be able to make that trip as well. I'm in the same boat as jackal though, I'm on deployment and won't be home until late april, early may, so the later in the summer the better. Only thing to be cautious about is GAP. I know its for grand ams, but alot of us make the trip anyhow. I think thats sometime in July anyhow. But for Ocean city, I think its about a 5 or 6 hour trip, I think i can handle that. Count me in.

I was searching an Ocean city site and they have condo rentals available for the whole month of July. Weekend rentals ran from $825 to $1100 per weekend. Room occupancy was from 6 to 8 people max. If we could get people to share rooms, maybe we could rent a couple of condo's. Some had 2 rooms or more with sleeper sofa's.

It sucks not being able to go. I have taken my Alero to Ocean City every summer since I've owned it and this will be the first time I can't go. Anyways, I went under web search, and looked up condos,ocean city and it gave me a huge list of rental properties. A lot have up to three bedrooms, cable tv, and internet hook-ups(to let the world know what you did stupid each day :lol: ). Some units are beside each other and some are next to other buildings. :thumbsup:
