Tuesday nights = Amateur nights/Test & Tune/Elimination bracket
who's in? We'll take each other's pics during test & tune if we don't race each other, or if you don't want to race, you could just take pics of my car, but you'll still need to pay $12 for a pit pass (I think it's $8 for the stands, $12 for the pit pass, and I know it's $15 to race...)

I could definitely do a couple of them. Only thing is I work Tuesday nights. If a bunch of us are going to do this, we'll have to get a date ahead of time (obviously) so that I can get that day off or leave early or something.

well, I get out of work at 4pm. I'll run home and get something to eat, and do a little pre-race prep, so I'll be there at about 6pm. (The last few times I showed up at 6pm, I still got a couple test runs in before the elimination tournament started.)
Weather supposed to be nice and cool tomorrow. High of 63.
Gotta wait for the junior dragsters to finish up so 6pm is good either way. :)

oh yeah, make sure you bring a pen! You'll be filling out a card with info so the tower guy announces you correctly, as well as provide the track with emergency info...just in case poop happens.

tell your dad there's no boost so it will be fine. I have never heard of blowing transmission because the gas pedal was pushed all the way.

Been back for a little, and scanned my last 2 runs to share with y'all.
My 1st 3 runs were test~n~tune runs, and thank GAWD. I was all over the place. If it wasn't my own inconstancy, it was the tire spin. I found that I don't have the throttle control needed to ease into the throttle. I get excited and stand on it. Anyhow, with just my catback and the OEM airbox, I hammered down decent number in the 1st round of eliminations, breaking out. :(

That loss in the 1st round put in into the loser's class. I stayed for one run in this class, in which I thought I did pretty good. ( I told Jenn I'd be home early for some quality time)
My final run for the night, I set down a better reaction time and my best e/t. I'm glad I'm hone for quality time with the g/f, but part of me wishes I'd stayed.....I bet with a 10.30 dial in I coulda stayed running for a few more. :thumb:
Big kudos to Randy for lending me his shoe polish, and for helping represent the 'mod in style. :thumb:

heh...I didn't know about that site until I looked at the card they gave us yesterday.
here's one from a few weeks ago. I took off my lecense plate to see if I'd be more aerodynamic.

No track for me until after ASS, I think. money's tighter than a 12-year-old right now. (I have $17 to last me until payday, and I'm running on fumes...)
