So, I just purchased the SLP cat-back for my car, and I now have everything (including TOG Headers a Magnaflow h/f cat and a Magnaflow resonator) for a full exhaust replacement. My problem is, when I went on the PFYC website to order the O2 Simulator, I noticed it says: (does not fit 2004 and newer). When I emailed someone at PFYC, they responded that GM changed the connectors for 2004 vehicles and they won't fit as far as they know. If anyone with an 04 who has replaced the exhaust could give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it. I just don't want a permanent check engine light problem.

Wow, no one has any advice? Anyone? I wish I had a cricket chirping sound file to add! :tumbleweed:

If you have a H/F cat you wont need it anyway as long as you have the O2 sensor put back in your H/F cat.
"sometimes" it will set off a SES light even if you put the O2 sensor back in, just depends really.

And you could always use the non-fowler trick for added security.

And that is?

You use two spark plug non-fowlers for old fords (with 18mm threads). Drill a larger hole in one so it will screw on to the oxygen sensor, then screw the other un-modified on to that one. Install the assembly (un-modified non-fowler, modified non-fowler, oxygen sensor) into the exhaust pipe. Basically it limits the flow to the 2nd sensor.

I tried to get some pics somewhere, got hits off google, but no pics!
