Nc Meet?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone in NC was up for a meet? I'm down in Jacksonville, NC near Camp Lejune. I'll work on location and date after I see if anyone is interested. Just throwing it out there to try and meet some new faces.

I had one a while back in charlotte, then jon tried to throw together a last minute one at bragg, but neither worked out real well. I'm game for whatever...what would have been nice is to get together and go to the auto show they had last weekend at lowes motor speedway

It would have been nice, but, I was working and also my Alero was down with a bad wheel speed sensor. :pissed: But if we got a few down I may be able to find out if there is anything going on down here. Of course, I have no idea what we'd do yet....

Here's what I can tell you about up here....there are 4 of us all within 5 or 10 minutes of each other here. we hang out as it is, but it would be cool to add some more to the mix...

Hey jonez, the help would be appreciated. PM me sometime. I mean, I've been in the area for almost 4 yrs. due to being stationed on MCAS New River but, really don't know all the "hot spots". Was planning something for the last weekend of April or first in May. This way it coincides with me going on terminal lv.

Me and slvrdrgn talked today. We decided on 5-7 May. We would all be meeting here at my house. I live in Hubert NC if you want to Mapquest to see how far it is. Also i have plenty of room for people to crash here. Just let me know who all is interested.

That sounds like a plan. I plan on setting up another if this works out well. I think for this one it's just gonna be a get together and do some drinking. Who knows though.

Probally Friday as people arrive just sit around and drink and get to know each other. Saturday go on a cruise either direction up the coast. From there we can figure something out. Depends on what everyone is into. Then Sunday maybe go play some paintball before everyone has to leave.

I'll be back on the 18-19th, goin to the track for midnight madness on saturday when i get back. So--- I dont know unless u guys want to al go out there and watch everyoen race its from 9pm til 1 am 9-12 is straight 1/8 and 1/4 miles and then at 12 to 1 they turn out the lights and race like that......

I'm back in jville now-=- Been back since may 19th-----let me know whats goin on.. maybe second week of july------- or something give everyone time to get settled...... can see if we can get the house on the beach on onslow --- i have a son and if ne one else has kid(s) can bring them and put them to bed in the house and party outside.. Ne one here on camp lejeune if u wanna do that get like 2 or 3 near each other if there is alot of people in the area that wants to do this...

well i'm out for a little while...i'm heading back to PA soon for the summer and when I return in the fall I will be coaching football so I'm not going to have a whole hell of alot of free time to tinker with, but I'll try towork something out.

I know the cabins are cheap, but summer time you usually have to reserve a while in advance.

well it depended on how many peeps were goin --- i was llookin at the like 3 or 4th week in july--- but if someone else has a better idea or whatever.... Figured that would be a good one for people who have kids to be involved play at the beach and then by the time we get ready to chill outside they would already be asleep... and we wouldnt be far from the house bc they have tables and stuff outside.... I heard it was like 80 a week or somrthing like that...... We could get them for like thrusday friday sat or just friday and sat. .. Something Let us know peeps....
