Hey guys, have any of ya installed a push button ignition in your Aleros? I think they are pretty cool mod and would be cool to put where the hazards are. Just wondering if anyones done it and if it works well. Oh yah and where I can get a kit from Canada, customs fees suck.

check this...

the search button is awesome.

in short, i don't think anyone has.... but alot of us would like to.

also, the best way is to get a piezo switch... but they are pricey.

its not near as hard as it sounds. pick up a haynes custom manual and they explain it simple. pretty much you just disconnect the ignition wire and route that into the new switch. im looking at doing that this summer and running into the sweet lookin flasher button for the aleros on the dash. then i'd just run my flashers elsewhere.

you would have issues with the Passlock and it would need to be bypassed as well. It knows if the key is not being turned to the "start" position and will kill the engine.
