I have an 02 Alero and I was looking at putting in factory fog lights and found a set on ebay (seeing as how no local salvage yard has any...go fig right?) I guess the question is...would I even have the needed wiring for something like this from the factory or am I better off putting in a set of aftermarket?
I also searched before posting this just in case...

stocks are no where near worth the time or effort.

IMHO, I like the stock ones because they look like they belong. If you don't have the stock foglights and want it to be exactly like original, you will need to change the front lighting harness with one from a model with fogs. Note that if you get a front harness from a '03 or '04 ? your DRLs will be the low-beams and they will be the high-beams with the older model harness. I'm not 100% sure what else needs to be done wiring wise, except that for a fact if you don't have the plug for the foglight switch from the factory, you will have to run a wire from the fog light switch to the BCM. The foglights will then have to be enabled with a Tech 2 (most likely only the dealer will have one)
I'll be in the process of doing this, i already have the harness just no time right now to install it.

Aftermarket fogs imo.
They are easy as pie to install and look 7832654754674389 times better than stock.

where can i look at these aftermoarket foglights? I want mine to have a blue tint. I tried using blue bulbs in my factory but it still has that factory yellow tint.
