My last post didnt get too much attention maybe people got confused so i decided to re write it. I know how the 2.4 works with the drain and over flow plug, does the 3.4 have the same specifically on the 2000 model.

The auto is the same trans in all Aleros.

With the exception of the overall final drive ratio dependent upon engine.

Still same trans, as far as changing the fluid goes.

still didnt answer my question, im asking where the drain and over flow plug is on the 3.4 auto and if its the same as the 2.4 manual......where is the filter for the tranny just undo the pan and its right there, and as far as it being a sealed transmission whats the difference

Filter is right under the pan, upper level plug, is on the passenger side end of the barrel. As far as a drain, plug, this transmission doesn't have one. You have to drop the pan.
