Since I started this thread I'll bend and flex and go for Houston. Problem is I ain't never been there. Anyone who knows Houston well feel free to pick a time and a place. I'm glad mapquest was created. Some ideas I had was getting together somewhere recreational with a lot of different things happening atone time. It ain't worth the drive to go all the way to Houston to sit in a parking lot. Lets organize a local cruise, photo opportunities. I will be more than happy to do all the photo ops and put the video compilation of our meet together if we can make this happen.

As far as the cruise is concerned I'm thinkin' a route that is not very populated. That way we can take video tape and pictures without so much clutter in the background. Theres texas motor speedway, its pretty far from me, and like every 3 months my school UTI rents it out for the weekend and all of us get to race n sh*it its pretty cool, its all the way in fu*kin Baytown tho thats like an hour and a half from me. I wont be able to race inless I fix my car cuz its really messed up rite now, I might blow a piston or something lol. I-45 is a drag strip lol i hit 100 almost everytime im on it

dude that training areas sucks...felt like I was in the damn jungle. The OPFOR was competitive and we learned alot though. Well, at least my Soldiers learn alot. Think I'll pass on JRTC the next go around

Yeah its def a very good learning situation, but the weather out here is so horrible that no one really has the energy to do anything. Just about every unit in the army will pass through JRTC and it good for them...gives everyone a feel for what a real life situation will be like. Did you guys get any down time?

lol yeah we all drive aleros so theres no way a grill is goin in my trunk with my big ass sub box. Well just find a park with a grill, they gotta have them without a doubt. I got like two chairs but its for me and my buddy thats gonna come with me. I got a cooler also that Im gonna bring with my paties and beer.

I have some fold up chairs that I will bring too...my trunk is limited as well with my box also. a football is a good idea, maybe a frisbee or somethin. If it's a decent size recreational park there should be a grill, maybe one of you guys can go check the park out, who over is closer. I don't think we have to worry about a stereo :biggrin:

here is what I am thinkin....basic time line without trying to seem to Clark Grizwald here...

12:00 noon meet up at C.O.H.
Once everyone has arrived and intro's are done we should move to the park.
Get to the park, fire up the grill and eat and b.s.
I'm thinking like 3:30 or 4:00 we discard all the BBQ garbage and hit the road for a cruise around town
After that we can move to the spot where we will take some group photos and such.

I don't know how late you guys wanna make this but a night cruise would be cool too. I really wanna get alot of photos and video footage. Some people are driving a considerable distance so we wanna make worth everyones time and gas money.

Any other input you guys have now is the time to bring it up.
