Are the Cavy and Aleros engine bays setup different on the 2.4? If so than the CAI wont work.

CAI: more than likely won't fit.
WAI (short ram): WILL fit! Just as effective too.

Any cutting involved in that Scott?

nope. the only thing is the hole into the fender is smaller on cav than ours so the tube going into fender is 2.5" were as we could use 3"

No cutting and no shaving. Just pull the stock pieces and install it. And dont forget to pay a pretty penny because Induction Dynamics does a lot of r&d with their product. Plus their located in Canada so shipping is steep eeh.

also with being the only true CAI out there for the 2.4 gives them an advantage.

i spoke with ID on the 2.5 pipe and it does effect the volume but the velocity is increased to where there is a trade off and it has no effect on performance.

they do do a lot of r&d. the cam system and flow testing crap they do is just awesome. lots of money in equipment.

back on topic though..................the things from a cav that don't work on an alero..................

motor mounts
fusebox cover
master cylinder cover
PCM
struts and springs
cat back systems
wheels

What about headers?? will those work from a cavalier?

Oldsman

pacesetter makes a header for the alero and GA so we don't need to use a cav one.

but if you do it will fit but O2 bung must be weld on the passenger side and the harness for the O2 be extended.

It will kinda work you will still need to buy a turbo manifold, more piping cause the stuff the give you is just universal bends and straight pipe, upgrade your fuel system, new down pipe, and of course get it tuned. After all that you should be good to go. That being said most of the time ebay turbos are junk knock offs some people have had success with them while most people have had nothing but problems.
