The Final 500 now has 27,000 miles on it and I was wandering how long different factory parts lasted for everyone. Like how long did there brake pads/rotors last..stuff like that.. I figure getting near 30k they might be going soon.

well i have a 2003 and i just got some new brakes and all of that stuff. i was at 57000. And the only reason that happened was because my calipers froze up. i think i would've still been good for that. just go and get everything checked. that is what i did.

Keep an eye on them '53. My '04 has under 25K on it and I just had to get new brakes. I even babied them things too...

funny...I heard that if you do something in between babying the brakes and slamming the brakes, they last longer. Slamming would obviously just wear the pads down and grind the rotors a bit, where babying them would lead to warping faster.

i put a typo...i meant to say 47000 vice 57000.

Must be nice, I only got 16k out of my factory pads on my 03. Then the 2nd set warped the rotors. Replaced under warranty. Rotors warped again at 25k, so I replaced them myself with Napa rotors and carmic pads and I now have 47k with NO problems and lots of pad left. So the factory GM pads and rotors are JUNK.
