OK so I just got done putting in my CAI, and I had a bitch of a time.
I didn't have directions so it was trail and error to put the downpipe inside the fender lining, but that wasn't the hard part.
I couldn't get out the stock downpipes from the intake, so I deceided to cut it out. I read that a lot of people have done this. So I pulled out the hedge clippers and bolt cutters and just cut the pipe to poop.
I got it out and put the CAI in. The vacuum hose holder is up a little, but I pushed down a little. My question is: How far is the elbow from the battery? Mione is right up against it and I just want to make sure that's right

P.S. the stock airbox should come out quite easy. Only takes a screwdriver and 1 minute of your time.

Did anyone else cut the hole a bit wider for their CAI, I took a dremel to it and made a real professional looking circle compared to the oval the stock intake housing went through. Because for some reason mine just wasn't fitting right. I got mine from FDP.

^^ No problem.
I sorry I didn't get this sooner. I'm loving it. The throttle response kicks ass!!
Englishtown, here I come.
Since my mud flap thingy is broken I might try cutting a hole in it for use on the track. Of course I have to wait until I get my new one first

That silver sleeve looks like a heat sheild of some sort and those black wire looms can be easily replaced with colored ones. I think they are about 3 to 6 bucks for a foot or 2
