Hi is me again has anybody buy a Dhp Power tuner. If u did that thing really works and how much hp did it give u ???

This one (http://www.hptuners.com) has the GA specifically listed. has been out longer and has pretty pics/graphs in the s/w. There is also an N/A ga on that site that runs 13's.

Either one looks like a good package. Now somebody just needs to make one for the 2.4 :angry:

the horsepower you gain from a powertuner is minimal on a stock setup, with power adders the gains get better.

the advantage of a tuner is that you change tweak settings in your driveway as you get more go-fast-parts ;)

opposed to a custom retune for more $$

The DHP tuner works great, and very easy installation! Horsepower isn't a ton maybe like 5-10hp (no dyno tests). But the DHP adds 500 rpm to shifts and changes shift points and that makes a big difference. And the stage 1 DHP will handle an intake, catback exhaust, and a couple other HP mods. If you go this route purchase it from www.pfyc.com, they have good tech support and a lot cheaper than site you listed.

Does the DHP one even work for the 3.4? its only lists 3800 and and '96GP no GAs or 3.4. The hptuners definately supports the 3.4

racin, I think you are talkin' about the DHP PCM not the tuner? the tuner allows you to reprogram the PCM, no need to go to, or send it to DHP, so you can adjust the shift points, among other things, to your liking. There are also not "stages" its just one device, limited by year and model. Also PFYC does not have the tuner listed on its site, if they do sell it I would bet the price is going to be very similar.

If u buy the DHP tuner u need to use 94 octane gasoline or higher :thumb:

Bringing alive an older post:) Been down due to the offseason (home renovations)

I'm using HPTuners. It's really good software and the scanner is top notch. Great with a wideband too (just ordered the USB Pro Upgrade!).

If you don't plan on doing the tuning yourself, or just plan to stick on a CAI and exhaust, a PCM swap is probably your best bet (just not as fun).

I think DPP, Milzy, Intense and DHP all sell modified PCM's for the 3400.

As for the 4cyl, HPTuners now has the 2.4:)
