check with germ @ www.donkeypunchperformance.com

I think I heard rumor that he was or is working up a prototype that will blow the rest out of the water on price. I'll say this though if you want them for show, get the high dollar ones. If you want raw performance, go to DPP.

well, basic slp headers costwise arent that bad (Couldnt find them on that page but I've seen them there for $350 or so)...but then again my friend got headers for his 92 stang for $160.

PFYC, use the banner on the homepage, they have TOG headers, they run about 800 also, unless you get lucky and find them on ebay for 475 like i did.

As far as I know TOG has gone out of business. Too bad cause their headers kick ass.

Yeah, but try to call them or e-mail them. Also Jon quit, so I am pretty sure they are out of business.

I am going to call BS on the fact that S&S headers give a 27HP gain at the wheels and I am sure that alot of others will agree. What brand of dyno was this done on, something doesn't seem right. What RPM did Max HP occur at and what was the torque at the RPM?

How can you call BS when the facts are right there??? Read the thread, it was done on a mustang dyno. I don't really care what anybody calls BS. I did that dyno for myself, not to come on here and sell S&S headers. I posted everything up in hopes that somebody looking for info on headers might find it useful. Take it or leave it, the proof is right in front of you. And besides, Springs even stated that he had similar gains by adding his TOG headers way back when they came out. So I don't see how anybody is so shocked by these results.

What RPM did Max HP occur at and what was the torque at the RPM, and why the hell are the numbers written in by hand?

I am just trying to figure out how headers added 27 wheel HP when John the owner of APOC only dynoed 18-19 HP.

BTW what do you run in the 1/4 mile?

Well, by looking at the graph, its about 4700 rpm on the max HP. (RPM is on the bottom) It's written by hand cause the numbers arent in a even base 10 scale, so it was just easier to write it on there than look at the numbers every time and figure out exactly where the line intersects the scale, plus I believe their computer displayed on the screen the final numbers, it just doesnt print out on the graph so they wrote it on the printouts for me to take home. I don't know any times because i've never taken my car to the track ever. And nobody else has ever done before and after S&S header dyno's so I don't have anything to compare to..Heck I don't know of any other dyno's for any brand header that are before and after header install (other than springs from years ago).

Like I said, I'm not selling S&S, i'm just a satisfied customer, and I figured i would make a more informative post than just suggesting a brand and throwing up a link. Just trying to help the dude see what his options are, and he can then decide what he likes best.

Your 143 HP dyno seems to be right on with my grand am. I dynoed on a mustang dyno with only a borla and put down 143.2 HP, but man a 27 HP gain from headers just seems unreal I don't think V-8's get that much from headers.

*stepping in for a second*

john, probably had the TOG's, and Wildman has a high flow cat and cat back system, so the headers, got thier full benefit.

So throw on some S&S and see what happens. I don't know what to tell you. These were my results, maybe I have a freak or maybe I just got very lucky but facts are facts. Again, I was just sharing my results to the original poster to provide some good info.

With headers, cai, and exhaust 170 to the wheels is about spot on. That is the amount of whp one should expect with those mods.

selling some TOG headers that are brand new. As people have stated, with an intake and exhaut can look to gain between 18 to 22 whp. Just search for TOG headers and you can find some before and after dyno's from others members.
