So I hear everyone always talking about autocross and how cool and fun it is and the scca or something like that. Well they are coming to Ft meyers(not to far from my house) and I would like to do it but like all this solo, solo2, pro, all these things are getting confusing, what do I need to do to be able to competein the autocross and how much does it cost and all that jazz, I saw somewhere you have to have a member card?? lol I dunnno anyone?

Usually runs about $20. It is solo 2 that you will be competing in. If it is your first time they will either offer or require an instructor your 1st tima around the course. All you need to bring is a helmet. You will have to remove everything loose in your car, including the floor mats.

The club that puts on the SCCA events where i go has lots of spare helmets that people can borrow. So that may be an option for you also. Other than that like he saidit's about 20 dollars and you can always get an instructor if you want.

Other than that i would recomment AT LEAST a good set of tires.
