I want to change the anti-freeze in my 2.4 , but I cant seem to find the radiator petcock drain can someone point me in the right direction? Is it easier to pull the lower rad hose?

what i did was to pull the lower radiator hose. then, i put the hose hookup on the back of the engine by the firewall, like it says to

front of radiator bottom right hand corner, use a quarter drive ratchet and extension to turn it and a pair of pliers to carefully pull it out till it starts to drain.

It only turns a 1/4 turn. Don't keep turning it. It will have to be replaced, personel experience on a 3.4

Thanks for the help ,but I'll just pull the lower hose to possiblily save me some grief . A quick question .... do I have to go with " Dex-cool" if I completly drain and flush?

If you do change over to regular antifreeze make sure you remove all the dex cool. The 2 products don't mix well, it will form a sludge.

well if you havet found it yet i got a pict of mine for you on the front very bottom can see from the front of the rad. driver side of car. It drains out of the bottom behind the air dam so make sure you have something sittin there [attachmentid=9534] the little white circle there in the corner sorry dont have a pict editor.
