once again in the Oldsmobile club of america mag we got recoginized. with a pic and the below:

Well represented again this year were the Alero tuner cars, some coming from as far away as Pennsylvania. These Oldsmobiles, featuring custom paint and front fascias, low profile wheels and tires, extremely detailed engine compartments and giant speaker systems filling the trunk which held the interest of the younger generation spectators.

I'm still only an hour away. :) Workin' afternoon shift now though, so I'd have to decide if I wanted to take Friday off totally though. Doubtful, 'cause contract work means no work = no pay.
I'm sure we'll be out on Saturday though. And how many years will I say "maybe I'll get the Alero fixed before the show?"

75 North till it turns to 23 then 23N to 96W and BAM your right there in Lansing. I'm with Lindsey here... Just an hour away, so more then likely I'll drag Britt and maybe the doggers up there this year. :)

gonna have to find a place that rents old cars...most rental companies are already renting 06 models. they dont keep them very long because of the miles. usually when they exceed factory warranty or get close to it, they sell them off.

1. this a weekend event that is an Alero car show and Oldsmobile car show plus a weekend of meeting new and old friends and just hanging out and having a great time. ASS is organized and hosted by the Alero Chapter of the Oldsmobile club of america. it is also held inconjuction with the Olds homecoming car show, which is hosted by the REOlds chapter of the Oldsmobile club of america.

2. All Aleros are welcome to come. doesn't matter what condition it is in. you don't have to register to show in either of the shows but you get to see some of the best Aleros and Oldsmobiles in the country. Also normally at the homecoming show GM provides some of their collection which have ranged from the OSV alero to the alero convert, to the once alero 442 and intrigue 442.

3. the alero show is for only aleros as of now. the homecoming show is for oldsmobiles only. but you can bring whatever and hang out and have fun.

4. well that depends. how far are you driving? what gas prices are? how much do you eat? if you share a hotel room or not. i would say total cost could range from $200-$400.

alright fine we decided u can come. thing is i dont know how u would come from columbus. the caravan will for at 2 points. one is on the ohio turn pike off of route 8..... and the other place we will meet up with people is when we get off the turnpike in toledo.

so it depends on how u wanna make the drive. but we will discuss it more as the date nears

doubleN0alero

Still confused on the kit (i want a "Forbiddden" front end, Razzi sides, and the kato rear) Idk what i'll end up doin. Well, do what you can, if it doesn't come just bring your birth certificate and ID, declare your beer and see what happens. As long as you're going to be here long enough to drink it I think you'll be alright. Just depends on who's in what kind of mood. A lesson a coworker learned last weekend though, don't tip them off that something isn't sold on the other side of the border. Your best answer is "I was shopping (or near the store) realized I needed some and just picked it up." Like the border's no big deal, it just saved you a trip.
