Ok, I searched the forum earlier today and got some great advice. From the spray of coolant coming from the belts, I assumed ok, water pump. I found someone to do it, bought the part and all. So before my friend can get to my car, I go to get my oil changed. And the guy tells me, that there's a crack in my radiato, so he shows me what he think is a crack, but it doesnt look like one to me, just seems to be a seam in the radiator. Ok then he looks and says you also have a leak over her on the opposite side of the engine away from the water pump. Can't explain it and its to dark outside to take a pic but he says it seems to be the lower intake manifold, and yes I have the 3.4 V6. A puddle of coolant just chilling on the the block. But i dont see any of the symptoms fo the manifold problem. Could it be both the water pump and the lower intake manifold?

Symptoms:
Steam coming from water pump area;
Coolant spraying under the hood from being slung from the belts
And a puddle of coolant, (i guess close to the manifold area).

Going crazy here, if its all three i'll be driving something new this weekend. Cant deal with problems like this. Had a '86 Accord most problems I had out of that car was fuel pump went out on the way home, couldn't do more than 15mph on the interstate, safe to say i was driving on the emergency lane. 1 hour trip took 2 and 1/2 hours. Ok through venting now...

very possibly both are bad. my pump failed shortly after my lower intake manifold gasket. i'd get the pump fixed and the LIM changed out, and if it continues to steam/lose coolant, patch the radiator too i guess.

Napa Brand gaskets (aka Victor Rentz) or GM Dealer gaskets.

they both use the torque disk on the gasket to help prevent over tightening which causes the gasket to leak
