all the suddent my car is smoking . The weird thing is that it never really reaches the H , a lil a above middle and it starts smoking, ya sometimes it gets higher but basically thats it . It smokes the whole drive . Since its cold it usually takes about 5 min to start smoking . I'm going to carmax in a lil bit to get it looked at , just wondering if anyone had a similar experience . Weird thing is the smoke is coming from the opposite side of where the coolant container sits. So its not a gasket thing . Well... i dunno

thats real weird man...i dunno what to tell ya, never happened to me...or anyone i know...
ever thought about checking where exactly the smoke is coming from...?
have you waited until the car cooled down so you can look around and see if there is any residue coming from where parts meet together? any unusual wetness, charring, oily substances on the motor or in the engine bay? a burnt hose maybe?
have you looked at all? or do you just notice the smoke coming from a general area at one side of the engine bay out the exhaust or whatever?

You say "In Winter" - release of heat/steam that is undetectable
in the the summer months might be more obvious in the Winter.
Check again under the hood when it's hot, and see what exactly
smokes. If you cant find it, find a trusted shop, as it's still trouble.
